Die Stelzen werden eigentlich für Handwerker oder Firmen hergestellt, die im täglichen Gebrauch an hohen Wänden oder Decken arbeiten müssen. Dadurch benötigt man z.B. beim Streichen oder Tapezieren einer Zimmerdecke keine Leiter mehr und spart viel Zeit.
Wir benötigen die Stelzen für ein neues Festival-Gewand, wo unser Fokus auf Stabilität und Leichtigkeit liegt, da wir mehrere Stunden darauf stehen oder laufen müssen. Die Stelzen sind von hochwertiger Qualität, extrem robust und dabei trotz allem ultraleicht. Ich habe bisher keine vergleichbaren Stelzen gesehen. Die ersten Schritte waren zwar ungewohnt, aber nach wenigen Metern nicht anders als wenn man Stiefel tragen würde. Die Anschnaller für die Füße sind Schnellverschlüsse vergleichbar mit einer Snowboardbindung und geben extremen Halt ohne sich von selbst zu öffnen oder abzuschnüren. Ich fühle mich in und auf den Stelzen sehr sicher, was natürlich auch eine reine Kopfsache ist und sich mit der Zeit geben wird. Für mich sind die Skywalker die besten und professionellsten Stelzen und die einzigen, wo Dank ihrer stoßgedämpften Füße, ein natürlich Gangbild erzeugt wird und nicht robotermäßig aussieht.
